Please make sure to never confuse a laminated Guitar with a solid Wood Guitar. Although both are similar in appearance the resonance is totally different.Remember that the wood Back-Sides- Top are what makes the guitar sound smooth, loud, tonally pleasant or a complete nuisance to the ear. Yes, the laminated may be hundreds of dollars less, but the idea in purchasing a guitar or ukulele is to sound great, not maybe OK...
